Ingersley Road, Bollington. From Macclesfield - follow the A523 Silk Road (Macclesfield to Stockport road) northbound and pick up one of the signs for Bollington at the Middlewood pub or Flash Lane roundabouts. Go all the way through the Bollington (past the Waggon & Horses, Dog & Partridge, Spinners and numerous other pubs) until you reach a mini roundabout just past the chip shop. This is the only roundabout in Bollington. You want to go straight on here into Ingersley Road, but the roundabout makes you go left and then immediately right. Travel half a mile and the Poachers Inn is on your right - the car park is just past the pub.
From Stockport - follow the A523 southbound until you reach the traffic lights at the Legh Arms in Adlington. Turn left and follow the road through Pott Shrigley. Descend down the hill into Bollington and turn left at the mini roundabout. Travel half a mile and the Poachers is on your right - the car park is just past the pub.
If there is no room in the car park, turn around and park on the road. Lots of great trails and nice beer. Not as hilly as Wincle (but then what is ?).
